Senior Electronics Engineer – Oak Ridge, TN

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support advanced industrial and power electronics projects in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact engineering initiatives that support critical energy infrastructure and national security priorities.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will design, develop, and deploy control and drive electronics for industrial systems, with a focus on power electronics, embedded systems, and motor controls. This position involves hands‑on problem solving, collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, and leadership on technically challenging projects.

• Design and test power electronics and control systems for industrial equipment
• Develop embedded system solutions and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and optimize complex electrical and electronic systems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and operations teams
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of experience in industrial electronics, power electronics, or electric machinery design
• Hands‑on experience with embedded systems, manufacturing, or R&D environments
• Strong knowledge of low‑voltage DC through three‑phase electrical systems
• Experience with tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or OrCAD preferred
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to obtain (or currently hold) a Q security clearance
