Senior Systems Integration & Interface Engineer

Senior Systems Integration & Interface Engineer to support the IKE project, a complex, multidisciplinary engineering effort requiring rigorous interface definition, integration planning, and cross functional coordination. This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, requirements management, and multidisciplinary integration. You will serve as a technical leader ensuring that interfaces across mechanical, electrical, software, and partner systems are clearly defined, controlled, and successfully integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead the development, documentation, and management of Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and interface requirements.
• Coordinate technical interfaces across mechanical, electrical, software, and external partner systems.
• Facilitate integration planning, risk identification, and issue resolution across engineering teams.
• Ensure interface requirements are traceable, testable, and aligned with system level architecture.
• Support system architecture development, requirements decomposition, and verification planning.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for interface related discussions with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Drive consistency, clarity, and configuration control across all interface artifacts.
• Contribute to integration strategies, system-of-systems analyses, and design reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including work involving system interfaces, integration, or cross disciplinary coordination.
• Experience developing or managing interface requirements, ICDs, or integration plans.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across diverse engineering domains.

• Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of engineering experience, ideally including systems engineering responsibilities.
• Experience with system architecture frameworks, interface management tools (Cameo, SysML, DOORS, 3D CAD tools), and configuration management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead integration efforts across complex, multistakeholder environments.
