What You’ll Do- Support Projects Management, Nuclear Enterprise Assurance, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction to achieve mission delivery.
- Identify and communicate quality risks and opportunities to stakeholders concerning mission success.
- Provide technical assistance in the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and plans.
- Review contract documents, work governing documents, changes or improvements, and procedures for quality requirement flow down and accuracy.
- Coordinate with personnel and management from other organizations and interface with internal and external customers to assist in implementing customer-defined requirements, schedules, and expectations.
- Contribute to the Quality organizational performance in achieving and exceeding established goals and expectations.
- Perform activities in support of organizational priorities and missions.
- Assist in identifying scope of work, schedules, and estimates, ensuring the execution and completion of all deliverables within budget and schedule.
- May develop and implement Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Lead or participate in QA/QC oversight, such as audits, assessments, inspections, and surveillances (including internal project audits and vendor/supplier audits as required).
- Work with personnel and management to communicate findings and issues.
- Identify and recommend areas to be assessed based on risk analysis and performance indicators.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. - OR Master’s degree:
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience. - OR PhD:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. - OR Fifteen or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
- Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Share Point
Job Requirements
- BS in an Engineering/Science discipline.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and functions that impact the quality management system.
- Working knowledge of or experience with the development of specifications, drawings, material requisitions, services requisitions, purchase orders, subcontracts, and interfacing with suppliers.
- Knowledge of the application of corrective actions for conditions adverse to quality.
- Knowledge of the application of nonconformance and deficiency reports for nonconforming or deficient items.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and functions that impact the QA program.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to work independently.
- Intermediate to advanced technical knowledge in engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, operations, or decommissioning practices sufficient to comprehend requirements.
- Advanced knowledge in analyzing information, reporting research results, process improvement, standards development, quality engineering, statistics, and problem solving.
- Nuclear grade construction experience.
- Specialized courses in engineering, technical, or quality assurance disciplines.
- Knowledge and application of 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, DOE Order 414.lD, ASME NQA-1-2008/ASME NQA-la-2009 Addenda
