Sr. Electronics Engineer

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an Sr. Electronics Engineer to support our clients in Oak Ridge, TN.

• Design and deploy next-generation control and drive electronics.
• Create detailed design packages and test electronics to troubleshoot complex systems that directly impact nuclear energy technology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead projects, mentor engineers, and interact with clients.
• Apply analytical methods, simulations, and industry standards to design safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that keep our operations moving forward.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 6+ years of experience (or equivalent) in industrial electronics, preferably with a focus on power electronics and electric machinery (PEEM) design.
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, embedded systems design, and R&D.
• Strong technical knowledge spanning low‑voltage DC through three‑phase systems.
• Proficiency with engineering tools like PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, and/or CAD.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and computational skills.
• The ability to obtain (or already hold) a “Q” security clearance.

• Active “Q” or Top Secret security clearance.
• A Master’s degree or 12+ years’ experience in industrial electronics design.
• Experience in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (UL, IEEE, NEC, ANSI, OSHA, NUREGS).
• Background in electric motor design/manufacturing or embedded software development.
• A passion for solving complex engineering challenges with innovative, real‑world solutions.
