Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Nuclear Safety Specialist (3851) in Oak Ridge, TN.

Responsibilities
* Support DOE nuclear safety oversight activities through review, evaluation, and implementation of nuclear safety programs.
* Analyze and review safety basis documentation to ensure compliance with DOE nuclear safety requirements.
* Lead and participate in formal safety basis review teams.
* Prepare or review Safety Evaluation Reports (SERs) and related approval documentation.
* Apply deterministic and probabilistic hazard analysis techniques to nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
* Evaluate technical safety requirements and ensure safety controls are adequately defined and implemented.
* Interface with DOE contractor representatives to support integrated safety management programs.
