As an EPC Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project, managing a team of field and office engineers. You will serve as the main conduit of information between the project manager and the team for technical, cost, and schedule information. Strong interpersonal and information management skills are required, as is leadership ability to develop subordinates into project management roles.
Your contributions will be essential to operations within Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in the Northwest and Southeast regions.

LocationThis position is managed out of Lenexa, KS, and supports active DOE construction sites in Aiken, SC;
Oak Ridge, TN; or Idaho Falls, may be required based on project assignments and career development plans.
- Perform project scheduling.
- Manage revenue, cost, and cash flow.
- Manage temporary engineering personnel.
- Maintain client relations.
- Manage advanced work packaging (AWP).
- Supervise construction engineering staff.
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
- Undergraduate degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of construction experience.
- Experience managing engineers.
- Read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Highly motivated with a passion for excellence and initiative.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to do work right the first time.
- Commitment to ethics and integrity.
- Passion for safety and ensuring no injuries.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent schedule software.
- Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software; proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to travel within the Southeast and Northwest regions (SC, TN, ).
- Team player capable of working independently to meet deadlines.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
