- Support the Reliability Engineering Function
- Interface with support groups and customers, including production, engineering, work control, supply chain, and maintenance
- Support establishment and evaluation of Master Data for plant assets
- Ensure department compliance with Integrated Safety Management (ISMS) Principles, Conduct of Operations requirements, and other key plant initiatives
- Perform independent assessments
- Manage procurements and Sub‑contract statements of work
- Develop implementation plans and provide oversight for identified areas of improvement, such as potential cost savings, process streamlining, or integration
- Support the development and implementation of proactive maintenance strategies, including maintenance plans, work instructions, and parts kitting in the CMMS (SAP)
- Identify equipment spares and build asset bills of materials
- Oversee equipment and parts procurements
- Act as a liaison between Reliability Engineering and Work Control to ensure proactive maintenance recommendations for Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs) are executable and effective
- Ensure compliance with Y18-037 Work Control Manual, Y17-029 Physical Asset Management Solution, DOE O 430.1B, Real Property Asset Management, and DOE O 433.1B Maintenance Management Program for DOE Nuclear Facilities
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of maintenance activities with the goal of increasing reliability of operational production equipment
- Integrate craft and other support group recommendations on the work package development process

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Ten or more years of relevant education, training, or progressive experience may satisfy education and experience requirements for this posting
Job Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- For bachelor’s degree holders: minimum 6 years of relevant experience (typical 10–15 years)
- Combination of relevant education, training, and progressive experience may satisfy requirements
- Working knowledge of CMMS (SAP) systems
- Thorough understanding of procurement/supply chain processes
- Application of technology in support of process improvement and management
- General technical experience
Requires a Q clearance; candidates may be considered regardless of current clearance status. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program, which may include a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and counterintelligence‑scope polygraph examination.
Position may be designated under 10 C.F.R. Part 709, requiring successful completion of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and polygraph.
Drug‑free workplace; pre‑placement physical, drug screening, and background investigation required. U.S. citizenship required for security clearance. Random drug testing may occur.
