Strata-G is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers with the following:

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineers to manage the full lifecycle of our mechanical products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate concept designs into reliable, manufacturable, and functional hardware systems.

• Design & Modeling:
  Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software like Solid Works or AutoCAD.
• Analysis & Simulation:
  Perform engineering calculations, stress tests, thermal analyses, and fluid dynamics simulations.
• Prototyping & Testing:
  Build and test physical prototypes to evaluate performance, troubleshoot flaws, and validate designs.
• Production Support:
  Oversee the manufacturing process, coordinate with vendors, and ensure designs are optimized for fabrication.
• Documentation:
  Write technical manuals, prepare design reports, and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOM).

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Years of experience: 3‑5 yrs experience.
• Software:
  Proficiency in computer‑aided design (CAD) and computer‑aided engineering (CAE) tools.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Strong foundational grasp of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
• Problem Solving:
  Advanced analytical skills to diagnose machinery failures and implement root‑cause fixes.
• Collaboration:
  Excellent communication skills to work alongside electrical engineers, project managers, and suppliers.

Full Time

Oak Ridge, TN. Onsite only.
