Summary
MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with an active Q Clearance to provide hands-on support for manufacturing equipment. This position will focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and control system issues.
Experience with
Allen-Bradley or similar platforms is highly desirable.
Onsite in Oak Ridge, TN
Salary:
Depending on Experience
- Troubleshoot and diagnose control system and manufacturing equipment issues.
- Provide hands-on technical support to identify and resolve equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, motor controls, and related equipment.
- Review and modify PLC programming and control logic as needed.
- Support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Review electrical and controls drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Work with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and operations personnel to resolve equipment issues.
- Document system modifications and technical resolutions.
- Active Q Clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial controls and manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with PLC-based control systems.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HMIs, instrumentation, sensors, motor controls, and industrial communications.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
