Duties:PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS):
- Maintain strategic alignment with projects and focus on UCOR’s and OREM’s goals.
- May assist in the development of engineering products such as: calculations, specifications, scopes of work, analyses, designs and design changes, engineering reports, etc. within their engineering discipline commensurate with grade level.
- Follows procedures in execution of day-to-day activities and maintains a working level knowledge of configuration management.
- Expresses ideas clearly and listens effectively to the ideas of others.
- Coordinates with Engineering Supervisors to ensure projects are scoped correctly and adequate engineering resources are allocated for execution of design, procurement, and construction activities.
- Maintains communication with support groups around UCOR to ensure projects stay within alignment with specifications and requirements.
- May develop engineering products and provide expertise in the engineering discipline commensurate with grade level.
- Maintains timely and accurate oral and written technical reports regarding assigned engineering activities.
- Keeps proper engineering files and records.
- Identifies, reviews and coordinates subcontractor/supplier submittals.
- Understands and uses computer software and applications associated with engineering assignments.
- Complies with company’s safety awareness program, officeand/or field safety policies.
- Develops an understanding of therole ofeach functional area within the company.
- Conforms to company core values.
- Acts with integrity in all elements of responsibility.
- Expresses ideas clearly and listens effectively to the ideas of others.
Required:
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Environmental or related Engineering discipline from a four-year accredited college or university
Experience: 4+ years of experience required. Professional Engineer License preferred.
Experience executing projects in a DOE regulated environment preferred.
Relocation:UCOR prohibits smoking in enclosed areas, including company vehicles.
