• Pay: $16 – $24 / hour ($18.75 average) | Based on weekday/weekend shifts
• Sign-on Bonus: $1,000*

• Empower Independence – Support individuals with daily living tasks like cooking, dressing, and grooming while encouraging their self‑sufficiency
• Build Meaningful Connections – Foster community involvement and help individuals build lasting relationships
• Be Their Advocate – Monitor physical and emotional well‑being and communicate important updates to the care team through accurate documentation and real‑time updates
• Ensure Health & Safety – Administer medications following medical guidelines, including mealtime safety and maintaining a safe, clean environment
• Celebrate Progress – Implement behavior support plans and encourage positive behaviors that help individuals thrive
• Stay Organized – Maintain accurate documentation to ensure quality care continuity
• Problem‑Solve Together – Guide individuals through challenges and promote independence through supportive problem‑solving

Requirements

Must‑Haves:

• Successful completion of Emory Valley Center's internal training (e.g. CPR/FA, Medication Certification, etc.)
• Valid driver's license with a clean 3‑year driving record
• Successful completion of background check covering employment history from age 18 to present
