Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is an engineering, technology, and security firm that supports national laboratories and government programs. The role is part of BGS’s mission‑driven integrated services and solutions.

Assists in required organizational activities for a dedicated cyber security environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management of Information Systems, or related field plus 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience in networking and security, including LAN and WAN Internet, PIV authentication, Splunk, Splunk ES, Splunk ITSI, Palo Alto Firewalls, Palo Alto Global Protect, incident forensics, real‑time vulnerability assessment, and threat remediation.
• Experience with Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Tenable.sc, Tenable Nessus Manager with Nessus Agent, Tenable Nessus, Forescout Counter ACT, Carbon Black, Tanium, Rubrik, Corelight IDS, Fidelis Networks, Sentry Wire packet capture systems, Cisco switches, vCenter, vSphere, and VMware Workstation.
• Provide support and analysis for Linux and Microsoft Windows‑based networks; conduct incident management, baseline configuration development, equipment setup, testing, and maintenance activities; develop threat‑based system and program‑level analysis reports and briefings for federal client management; and participate in unified threat management activities.
• Work effectively in a team environment, cross‑train in various cyber security areas, and prioritize multiple tasks quickly.
• Be well versed in acting‑based threat briefings.
• Domestic travel may be required; work with clients in multiple time zones.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Successful drug screening.

This is a hybrid full‑time role (Monday – Friday, 40‑hour week) with some travel/onsite requirements.
