Orano is currently seeking a Project Management Office
- Manager (PMO Manager)
. As the PMO Manager
, you'll support the successful delivery of Project IKE
, Orano USA’s uranium enrichment facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The PMO Manager will also provide critical project controls, governance, reporting, and coordination support across engineering, construction, procurement, and operations readiness work streams. The PMO Manager ensures schedule integrity, cost visibility, risk tracking, and consistent application of project management processes in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

This is a high‑impact position that requires strong technical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced environment. You'll ensure the project posture supports both operational execution and strategic objectives and be at the forefront of building one of the most advanced clean energy infrastructures in the country.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the integrated project schedule, working closely with discipline leads, contractors, and the Project Controls team to ensure accurate progress tracking and forecast reliability.
  • Support cost control activities, including budget tracking, change order review, variance analysis, and preparation of cost performance reports.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including weekly status reviews, risk reviews, and management reporting sessions; prepare agendas, capture action items, and drive follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Support risk and issue management processes by tracking risks, mitigation actions, and escalation items in accordance with project governance.
  • Assist with change control processes, ensuring proper documentation, impact assessment, and approval workflows.
  • Help enforce project management standards, tools, and procedures across the project team and key contractors.
  • Coordinate interface management between engineering, construction, procurement, quality, safety, and operations readiness functions.
  • Support document control and configuration management activities related to project baselines, plans, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to lessons-learned capture and continuous improvement of project management practices.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with applicable nuclear quality assurance, safety, and security requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field.
  • Must have 5+ years of progressive project controls, project coordination, or project management experience on large, complex industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred) and cost control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret schedule and cost data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environment with competing priorities.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting nuclear, DOE, or highly regulated industrial projects.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) principles and application.
  • Prior exposure to uranium enrichment, nuclear fuel cycle, or similar high-hazard process facilities.
  • Experience working with EPC contractors and owner’s project teams.
