As a Composite Fabrication Technician, you will fabricate, assemble, and test composite components and support manufacturing process improvements. This hands‑on role includes equipment troubleshooting, process development, and composite lay‑up/fabrication for advanced systems.

On‑site in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

• Fabricate, assemble, and test composite components for advanced systems.
• Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot fabrication equipment.
• Support development of operational procedures and process improvements.
• Execute fabrication and assembly of complex components, test stands, and fixtures.

• Associate degree in science/engineering with 2+ years of experience or high school diploma with 6+ years of experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with shop equipment and fabrication tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  Solid Works is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE or DOD clearance.

• Experience with filament winding, fiber placement, or composite processes.
• Experience with NQA1, ISO
  9001, or AS9100 quality programs.
• Experience in isotope enrichment or fast‑paced technical environments.
• Active DOE Q security clearance highly preferred.

• Pay: $30.70–$43.26 per hour. The hourly rate is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Total compensation may also include a full range of medical, retirement, and other benefits, details of which will be provided upon offer.
