Entry-Level Laser Machine Operator
This entry-level Laser Machine Operator role offers the opportunity to learn and perform laser machine operations in a clean, partially climate-controlled production environment. You will work with laser equipment, follow blueprints, and use basic computer functions to support efficient and accurate production processes.
Responsibilities- Operate laser machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and production specifications to set up and run laser equipment correctly.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality output.
- Use basic computer functions to input job information, track work, and follow production instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the laser machines.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any equipment issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Arrive on time and consistently complete assigned tasks during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to operate machinery in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn laser machine operation and follow detailed instructions.
- Basic understanding of blueprints or willingness to learn blueprint reading.
- Technological aptitude and ability to learn basic computer functions.
- Reliability and ability to show up consistently for scheduled shifts.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a structured environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Interest in developing skills in laser technology and machine operation.
- Comfort working in a partially climate-controlled production facility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new processes and equipment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Ridge, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
