Position Overview:As a Composite Fabrication Technician, you will fabricate, assemble, and test composite components and support manufacturing process improvements. This hands-on role includes equipment troubleshooting, process development, and composite layup/fabrication for advanced systems.
Location:On-site in Oak Ridge, Tennessee
Your Day-to-Day as a Composite Fabrication Technician:- Fabricate, assemble, and test composite components for advanced systems.
- Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot fabrication equipment.
- Support development of operational procedures and process improvements.
- Execute fabrication and assembly of complex components, test stands, and fixtures.
- Associate degree in science/engineering with 2+ years of experience
OR high school diploma with 6+ years of experience. - Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency with shop equipment and fabrication tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Solid Works is a plus. - Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE or DOD clearance.
- Experience with filament winding, fiber placement, or composite processes.
- Experience with NQA1, ISO
9001, or AS9100 quality programs. - Experience in isotope enrichment or fast-paced technical environments.
- Active DOE Q security clearance highly preferred.

Pay: $30.70- $43.26
