• Assists the Production Support Manager(s) in the technical execution and integration of daily production work activities.
• May serve as representative for Production Support Manager or Relief Supervisor as requested.
• Will work special assignments and help resolve issues and problems.
• Supports the development of daily work schedules and job assignments.
• Monitors, coordinates, and resolves issues related to production schedules, facility condition, and equipment/tooling availability.
• Supports shift and pre-job briefing.
• Develops and monitors operating and procedural practices and ensures documentation required by those practices is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Serves in a project management role as the VSET Lead.
• Identify and implement Lean/5S improvements to processes and operations practices.
• Supports Production Operations mangement in liason with bargaining unit employees, overtime management, training status, staffing actions, and other personnel activities as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned to provide leadership in maintaining safe working conditions, proactively preventing injuries, contaminations, and exposures; supports the safe, efficient and effective flow of work within the production area.

• Bachelor’s degree:
  Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• OR Master’s degree:
  Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Twelve or more years of relevant education, training, and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy the educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.

• Broad knowledge of secuirtiy and specialized facility SMFO operations and previous experience in machining operaitons.
• Skill in developing innovative measures to promote efficiency and achieve economies to ensure that requirements are, at the same time, reasonable and achieve compliance is necessary.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and ability to communicate in both writing and orally and interpersonal skills.
