We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician in Oak Ridge, TN to perform critical testing and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems within our manufacturing processes.
Reporting under general supervision, you will set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot systems and subcomponents including electronic and mechanical assemblies. This role supports multiple product lines and ensures adherence to quality and engineering standards throughout manufacturing.

- Follow test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems.
- Perform rework on assemblies or systems as needed based on test outcomes.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
- Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.
- Carry out electronic, mechanical, and test functions according to Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions.
- Maintain production records using computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Support testing across all Oak Ridge products including UAS Flight & Test and Radiation & explosive detection.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Experience testing bare and assembled mechanical parts and electronic components per manufacturing documentation.
- Perform sub-assembly and process assembly inspections.
- Test and troubleshoot completed instruments through QA/QC processes.
- Complete production and quality documentation.
- Assist Engineering with prototype building and testing.
- Work in compliance with quality and engineering standards.
- Inspect and document completed assembly work.
- Meet work quotas while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
