Become a key player in our manufacturing operations in Oak Ridge, TN as a Production Test Technician, where your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will drive production excellence.

Under general supervision, you will support manufacturing by performing setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and subcomponents, including electronic and mechanical assemblies. Your work will span multiple product lines and contribute directly to quality assurance and production efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Follow test specifications, methods, and procedures derived from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems to ensure operational quality.
  • Perform rework on assemblies or systems as needed based on test results.
  • Document findings and recommend solutions through technical reports.
  • Assist with selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
  • Execute electronic, mechanical, and test functions per Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Maintain accurate production records using computer tools such as Microsoft Office.
  • Support testing activities across all Oak Ridge product lines including UAS Flight & Test and Radiation & explosive detection.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Experience testing mechanical parts and electronic components following manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to perform sub-assembly and process assembly inspections.
  • Skill in testing and troubleshooting instruments through QA/QC processes.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Assist Engineering with prototype building and testing.
  • Work in compliance with quality and engineering standards.
  • Inspect and document assembly work.
  • Meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
