Join our team in Oak Ridge, TN as a Production Test Technician where your skills in calibrating and testing electronic and mechanical systems will be essential to manufacturing success.
Under general supervision, you will perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of both electronic and mechanical assemblies and subcomponents within manufacturing. Your role is critical in ensuring product quality and functionality across diverse product lines including UAS Flight & Test and Radiation & explosive detection systems.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
- Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing when necessary.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
- Perform electronic, mechanical, and test functions following Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions.
- Maintain production records using relevant computer skills such as Microsoft Office.
- Support testing processes across all products produced in Oak Ridge as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Experience testing bare and assembled mechanical parts and electronic components following manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to perform sub-assembly and process assembly inspections.
- Skill in testing and troubleshooting completed instruments through QA/QC processes.
- Capability to complete production and quality-related documentation.
- Assist Engineering with building and testing prototypes.
- Perform work in accordance with quality and engineering standards.
- Inspect and document completed assembly work.
- Meet work quotas while conforming to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
