Maintenance Technician Mechanic

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and facility maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician Mechanic
to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician Mechanic
, you will be an essential part of the operations supporting the maintenance department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00

Shift: Weekend shift 6:00pm to 6:00am

• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, lubricants, or filters, following a set schedule
• Conduct facility maintenance including replacing light bulbs, painting, filters, and simple plumbing tasks
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment using manual and power tools
• Partner with senior mechanics to repair more complex manufacturing or facility equipment
• Maintain work area cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• One (1) year relevant experience in maintenance or related field
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
• Basic math, computer, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of machine repair, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, sheet metal, mill-wright, and general maintenance
