Job Purpose:
NEW PRN POOL NEW PRN RATES $50/HR PLUS TRAVEL INCREASE IF DRIVING MORE THAN AN HOUR
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, providing critical care as needed.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional nursing practice and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in home healthcare or a similar setting.
- Experience in providing patient care and managing patient treatment plans in a homecare environment is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare-related technology.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and environments within the homecare setting.
