Job Purpose:

NEW PRN POOL NEW PRN RATES $50/HR PLUS TRAVEL INCREASE IF DRIVING MORE THAN AN HOUR

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, providing critical care as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional nursing practice and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Required Education
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in home healthcare or a similar setting.
  • Experience in providing patient care and managing patient treatment plans in a homecare environment is highly desirable.

  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
