Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our assisted living team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care and ensuring the comfort and safety of residents within our community. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need of assistance, while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and resident status in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
  • Assist residents with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive and harmonious living environment for residents by promoting respect, dignity, and privacy.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid LPN license in [State].
  • Previous experience working in an assisted living or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to varying resident needs and maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure.
