Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our assisted living team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care and ensuring the comfort and safety of residents within our community. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need of assistance, while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and resident status in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
- Assist residents with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
- Foster a positive and harmonious living environment for residents by promoting respect, dignity, and privacy.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in [State].
- Previous experience working in an assisted living or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
