Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our assisted living community in Oak Ridge, TN. This part-time position requires availability every other weekend from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document residents’ health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Availability to work every other weekend from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
