QA Engineer (NQA-1)

Ensure activities affecting engineering, procurement, dedication/qualification, and manufacturing processes conform to the ASME NQA-1 standard for items and services provided to nuclear facilities.

Develop, implement, and maintain an NQA-1 compliant Quality Assurance Program.

Review project deliverables, procurement requisitions, and quality verification documents for compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate and conduct internal and external vendor audits as an NQA-1 auditor.

Identify, evaluate, and track nonconforming items or processes and develop/maintain corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Ensure compliance with nuclear quality frameworks such as 10

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent military experience. Degree not required for individuals with 5+ years of NQA-1 experience.

2 to 5+ years of experience in NQA-1 Quality Assurance.

Willingness to achieve Lead Auditor certification (not required but preferred).

Deep knowledge of NQA-1, 10

CFR Part 21, and industry standards such as EPRI and IEEE.

Strong technical writing, professional collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Infrequent travel support for audits and surveys.
