As an Electrical / I&C Maintenance Technician at Centrus Energy, you'll be the hands-on expert ensuring both our centrifuge machines and facility infrastructure systems perform flawlessly. From drive controls to overhead cranes, lighting to security electronics—you'll tackle a wide variety of systems that keep our operations powered, safe, and efficient.

What You Will Do:

Perform maintenance, modification, and repair on centrifuge machine electrical systems (drive control, heat trace, tempered water, vacuum, flow control, process gas monitoring, and more). Keep our facility infrastructure reliable by servicing electrical systems including building power, UPS, backup generators, cranes, HVAC, lighting, fire protection, and security electronics. Plan jobs with safety and quality at the forefront while coordinating within our Work Planning and Control system.

Collaborate with a diverse team to meet schedule and cost goals, all while keeping critical testing operations on track.

We'd Love to Hear from Candidates With:

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion/certification of a 5-year electrical apprenticeship program.
• 5+ years' experience in electrical and control system installation, maintenance, diagnostics, modification, and repair.
• Must possess or obtain and maintain a "Q" Clearance

A Successful Candidate Brings:

• An Associate degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Journeyman Electrician status
• 10+ years experience in electrical and control system work
• Demonstrated computer aptitude and technical skills
• Currently holding an active Q-level security clearance

Pay: Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $51,713 - $93,084. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.
