Senior Tax Associate

HQ Tax & Financial Inc. is looking for a motivated and experienced Tax Professional to join our growing international tax and advisory firm.

This is NOT a remote position. If you do not live in the Chicago area, please do not apply.

• Review and prepare U.S. tax returns (1040/1040NR /1120/1120S/1065)
• Client communication and solving problems
• Tax planning and advisory for business clients
• Handle IRS notices and client communications
• Review bookkeeping and financial statements
• Support international and cross-border tax engagements
• Collaborate with offshore and U.S.
  
  -based teams

• Registered CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent license is a plus
• 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in public accounting
• Good knowledge of U.S. Taxation, Payroll, Accounting, and Financial Statements
• Experience with business and individual tax returns
• NPO or Trust Return Preparation is a plus
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment
• A passion for learning, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work with different types of technology software
