About The Role. The Sales Analyst holds a critical role within the Food service team s position is responsible for managing and interpreting multiple data sources to deliver channel and customer intelligence, identify performance opportunities, and support commercial growth strategies. The role requires a strong combination of analytical expertise, business acumen, execution excellence, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business results.
What You’ll Be Doing.

• Collaborate with Sales Teams and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to optimize and continuously improve reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Partner with Channel stakeholders to establish meaningful reporting and dashboard solutions aligned to business priorities.
• Lead the analysis and interpretation of McCain and customer data to improve decision-making effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports and insights that support channel and customer performance management.
• Integrate multiple data sources and leverage insights to provide a holistic view of business performance, trends, and opportunities.
• Identify patterns, trends, and root causes of underperformance, including the impact of competitive activity and external market factors.
• Analyze syndicated and customer data to uncover performance drivers and recommend actions that can be scaled across customers and channels.
• Serve as a trusted business partner to Channel Teams by identifying growth opportunities and performance gaps.
• Support new item planning, launch execution, and performance tracking through Circana, Power BI, and customer database platforms.
• Present data and insights in a clear, accessible, and compelling manner to support strategic decision-making and organizational alignment.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful.

• University degree required.
• Prior experience in data analytics, sales analytics, business intelligence, category management, commercial analytics, or a related field.
• Food industry experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working with syndicated data sources such as Circana and customer data platforms.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence through analytics and insights

The Sales Analyst is a key member of the Food service team, partnering closely with Sales, Business Development Managers, Channel stakeholders, Customer Insights, and Commercial teams.
