A Linux/Unix Storage Engineer Sr. is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of storage solutions in a Linux/Unix environment. They lead projects, provide technical expertise, and ensure that storage systems meet the organization's performance, availability, and security requirements.

• Leading the design and implementation of storage solutions, including SAN and NAS systems, in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Configuring and optimizing storage systems for performance and reliability.
• Monitoring storage systems and identifying and resolving complex issues.
• Performing advanced storage capacity planning and management.
• Implementing advanced storage security measures to protect data.
• Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate storage systems with other infrastructure components.
• Documenting storage configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Participating in projects to upgrade or expand storage infrastructure.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in storage management.
