Job OverviewSenior Process Engineer will join the Architecture/Engineering Process Practice, working closely with clients to solve complex industrial problems. The position involves managing design‑build projects from proposal to start‑up, ensuring high‑quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
What You’ll Do- Support capital projects and implement process solutions both individually and in teams.
- Design and implement integrated process projects, including equipment selection, installation specifications, vendor and contractor management, electrical/control/instrumentation integration, construction management, and start‑up support.
- Manage all aspects of integrated design‑build projects ranging from $2MM to $10MM.
- Lead client development and project execution: proposal development, presentations, project team leadership, budgeting, forecasting, equipment procurement, schedule management, engineering, and on‑site installation support.
- Build and strengthen client relationships through day‑to‑day technical expertise.
- Minimum 7years of industrial project engineering experience with process and automation applications.
- Experience in food, dairy, beverage/brewery, or personal care industries preferred.
- Working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, mass & heat balances, basic piping design, pump sizing, material handling, equipment specifications, and instrumentation/control principles.
- Practical understanding of sanitary design, construction methods, and process electrical/control/instrumentation integration.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
- Self‑starter who can work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel for project installation, start‑up activities, client meetings, trainings, industry seminars, forums, or conventions.
- B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred; other engineering degrees considered based on experience.
The approximate pay range is $120K – $160K. Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, skills, and geographic location.
