Manager, Electrical Engineering P.E.

• Deliver power distribution and other facilities architecture/engineering electrical design packages for manufacturing clients.
• Lead a team of engineers and designers in the development of electrical design documents and deliverables for all project phases (conceptual and detailed design, feasibility studies, construction documentation).
• Develop strong relationships within the region and the Architecture/Engineering Process Practice to support the practice vision.
• Assume responsibility for client development, project profiles, strategic project implementation, and organizational planning and leadership.
• Mentor, nurture, and develop our Design group professionals.
• Develop new electrical engineering engagements and search for new value propositions.
• Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening relationships with clients and team.

• A minimum of twelve years of architecture/engineering facilities electrical design experience.
• A minimum of three years of experience as an electrical engineering design manager (preferred).
• Experience developing power distribution and other facilities electrical engineering designs for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other industrial manufacturing facilities and processes.
• The ability to present designs to new and existing clients.
• The ability to lead an electrical engineering design team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Solid written and verbal technical communication skills, including generating reports and conducting group presentations.
• A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, training, industry-related seminars, forums, and conventions.
• A bachelor of science in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• A professional engineer (PE) license.
• A master’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering management (preferred).

The approximate pay range for this position is $160,000 – $200,000. Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
