Job Description Summary
As a Project Management Specialist – Project Planning, you will support the successful delivery of customer equipment, facilities, and infrastructure projects by managing project schedules, cost controls, and forecasting. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex energy projects while helping drive the global energy transition.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, project controls processes, and work instructions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardize work, and support Lean/Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report and help resolve quality or safety issues in a timely manner.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and resource plans using project controls tools.
- Monitor project schedule, cost, risks, and performance, providing accurate forecasts and actionable recommendations to the project team.
- Ensure compliance with Global Project Controls standards, work breakdown structures (WBS), processes, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and present project status, financial, schedule, and risk reports to project teams, leadership, and customers as required.
- Support change management, cost reconciliation, claims, and project closeout while ensuring alignment between project financials and approved budgets.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, and functional stakeholders to identify cost‑saving opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive successful project delivery.
- Oversee project planning and cost control activities to ensure high-quality reporting, forecasting accuracy, and on-time, on-budget execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in project planning and cost management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Primavera P6 for project scheduling and planning.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning and cost management for large complex turnkey projects, including schedule development, cost tracking, and project controls.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% of the time
Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledge of forensic analysis on large complex turnkey projects
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Established project management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
