Carrier Sales Representative

Job Title: Carrier Representative/Broker

Overview:

A client of I.K. Hofmann's is looking for someone to join our expanding 3PL team as a Carrier Representative. As a Broker your main responsibility is to generate revenue by managing freight through our carrier networks. This role also involves customer service, driver management, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate transportation with customers and operations
• Manage and communicate with drivers for timely deliveries
• Report issues to the Operations Manager
• Use software like DAT and McLeod for logistics management
• Book loads and update customers on freight status
• Negotiate rates and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements and Skills:

• Associate's Degree required;
  Bachelor’s preferred
• 2+ years' experience in the 3PL space
• 2+ years of experience in sales
• Highly motivated and able to work under pressure
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Bilingual skills and dispatch experience are a plus
