** The Med-Surg Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for assessing patient/family health problems and resources, and takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to Med-Surg population(s), to include, but not limited to, management of the post-operative patient, telemetry monitoring and infectious disease patients.
**** This position requires providing service to one or more age groups including ill children through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

** Job Requirements
*** Graduate of an accredited LVN School of Nursing
* High school graduate or equivalent required.
* Three (3) years’ experience preferred
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
* Current California LVN license
* ACLS preferred
* Current BLS certification
** Pay:** $29.00 – $37.00 per hour
