We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance within a structural steel fabrication environment. This direct hire opportunity is responsible for managing safety programs, conducting training, ensuring OSHA compliance, investigating incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
Education Requirement- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional safety-related education or training preferred
- Prior safety coordination experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication, construction, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of Cal-OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, investigations, and employee training
- Ability to work effectively with management, supervisors, and production employees
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and company safety policies
- Conduct facility safety inspections and audits utilizing iAuditor
- Lead employee safety training and orientation programs
- Complete risk assessments and pre-task safety analyses
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions
- Partner with supervisors and employees to address safety concerns
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and daily reports
- Assist with injury management and emergency response activities
- Conduct substance testing when required
- Communicate safety performance and improvement opportunities to management
- Ability to walk production floors and fabrication areas for extended periods
- Ability to work in industrial environments around machinery and equipment
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to perform inspections in indoor and outdoor work environments

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
