Maintenance Mechanic

Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical, vocational, or trade school training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical repair preferred
- Ongoing maintenance and safety training encouraged
Experience Requirements:
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines, forklifts, welders, and production equipment
- Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems up to 480 volts
- Experience repairing cranes, hoists, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, motors, and controls
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Beamline machines, Plasma Tables, and Plate Processors
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment inspections
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and meet production demands
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment, tools, and parts as required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in industrial environments
- Comfortable working around machinery, electrical systems, and moving equipment
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks in varying plant conditions
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, welders, vehicles, trailers, cranes, and hoists
- Inspect facility equipment and identify maintenance needs
- Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production leadership
- Recommend improvements to increase equipment performance and reliability
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support production operations by minimizing equipment downtime
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
