Vacancy for the  School Year:

Certified Tutor Homebound Instruction

$40 per hour

Anticipated

Schedule:

Up to ten hours per week as needed

Job Description /Responsibilities:

Homebound Certified Tutor (Per Diem)

The Homebound Certified Tutor provides individualized instruction to students unable to attend school due to medical, emotional, or other approved reasons. Instruction is delivered in the home, hospital, or other approved setting in alignment with district curriculum and student learning plans.

Qualifications:

* Valid Connecticut teaching certification required

* Experience with K12 students preferred

* Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

* Ability to work independently in off-site instructional settings

Schedule & Compensation:

Per diem/part-time; hours and assignments determined by student eligibility and district authorization. Compensation per district rate or applicable collective bargaining agreement.
