We’re looking for a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician (ABEM or AOBEM) to join our community-centered Emergency Department committed to delivering great care. Enjoy a sustainable career with autonomy and predictable hours to support maintaining work-life balance.

• At Oak Valley Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to over 6 EM physicians and 2.5 EM Advanced Practice Providers. Our model consists of 24 hours per day of physician coverage and 10 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.

• Emergency Medicine board certification (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• 12-hour shifts; 9 am-9 pm and 9 pm-9 am.
• PRN position.

• 12-bed ED with all private rooms.
• 4 fast-track beds.
• Annual volume of 20,579 with a 4% admission rate.
• Average of 2.1 patients per hour.
• The hospital includes five ICU beds and 30 med/surg beds.
• Level 4 Trauma goal in 2025/2026.
• Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI available during daytime hours.
• Specialty services include:
  Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care.

• Oakdale is considered a family-friendly, historic town, home to boutique shopping and diverse cuisine, and it is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast.
• Oakdale is known as the Cowboy Capital of the World and attracts visitors from all over annually.
• This area’s attractions include Woodward Reservoir, the Cowboy Museum, Orange Blossom Recreation Area, and Greger Basin.
• The natural beauty of Oakdale is unbeatable! The Stanislaus River and the Sierra Nevada foothills are close by. Also, this area is considered the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Dodge Ski Resort, and Stanislaus National Forest.
• We have excellent schools and a strong, close-knit, safe community.
• This is also near 2 major cities
  - Modesto and Stockton.

• 1099 hourly compensation of $310/hr
