Balance Staffing is partnering with a well-established structural steel fabrication company in Oakdale, CA to hire an experienced Steel Detailing Manager to lead their detailing and BIM team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with structural steel detailing experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and fabrication environment.
Responsibilities- Lead and support detailers and BIM staff
- Review and approve shop drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure drawings meet AISC standards and AWS codes
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams
- Maintain project schedules and support production deadlines
- Improve detailing workflows and team performance
- 5–10 years of structural steel detailing experience
- Previous leadership or BIM/Detailing Manager experience preferred
- Strong understanding of fabrication and erection standards
- Knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes
- Tekla experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Simple IRA with company match up to 3%
