Overview
The City of Oakdale is excited to announce the opening of a City Engineer position. This complex position will work closely with colleague departments to ensure coordination of engineering functions throughout the City's operations.
Responsibilities- Under limited supervision, this position leads the city’s engineering responsibilities for environmental, water, sewer, stormwater, street, right-of-way lighting, trails, open space restoration and other public works projects and programs both in field and in office.
- This position ensures technical competence and compliance with all codes and criteria; and serves as a project manager.
- This position will be part of our Public Works department, which also includes streets, forestry, utilities, recreation, and parks maintenance.
