Job Overview

Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Oakdale: 7755 3rd St. N, Oakdale, MN 55128;
Scottsdale: 18700 N Hayden Rd, Suite 255, Scottsdale, AZ 85255

Remote Policy: Hybrid schedule; must work in office 4 days per week. Not considering remote candidates.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 per year + annual bonus

Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst primarily supports Osaic’s Corporate Finance function, encompassing financial analysis, recruiting economics, long‑range planning, and M&A activities. The role leads analytical efforts and manages relationships with key leaders across business units.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning.
  • Determine best approaches to analyze and synthesize data and solve complex problems independently.
  • Assess the financial and economic performance of various businesses, identifying ways to increase growth and profitability.
  • Work with units on financial monitoring, evaluation of new initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement.
  • Monitor performance and conduct variance analyses; prepare periodic reports for senior management.
  • Maintain forecasting, budget, and key operating metrics databases in applicable systems.
  • Assist with the implementation of new tools and systems.
  • Produce analysis and recommendations for senior management regarding strategic business decisions.
  • Improve current finance processes through simplification and/or automation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues across business units to foster effective collaboration.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements

Master’s Degree in Finance preferred;
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Finance or related field required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years in FP&A, finance, or business analysis.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with financial reporting, corporate finance, and general ledger applications.
  • Highly motivated, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
  • Self‑starter, anticipates challenges and resolves issues proactively.
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Team player with a customer service mentality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services industry (wealth management, investment management, broker‑dealer, insurance, banking, specialty finance).
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials.
  • MBA degree.
