Position Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for the United States and Canada region. This role is primarily responsible for the day-to-day coordination of logistics, with the US and Canada 3PL warehouse teams, including shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities.
The Logistics Coordinator will report to the Regional Supply Chain Manager, US&C, and will partner closely with suppliers, carriers, third-party logistics providers, and internal stakeholders (customer care) to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective logistics operations.
Up to 5% travel may be required, including domestic U.S. travel and international travel to Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day logistics flow activities for the US and Canada region.
- Coordinate import and export activities, including documentation, shipment arrangements, and related logistics activities to support timely and compliant movement of goods.
- Ensure on-time customer deliveries by coordinating with 3PL warehouse, customer care teams, and carriers. Manage transportation and warehousing issues, resolve service disruptions, and communicate shipment status, risks, and resolution plans to internal stakeholders.
- Support freight cost control by monitoring transportation spend, reviewing freight-related activity, approving freight invoices, and helping identify cost reduction or service improvement opportunities.
- Track logistics performance metrics and support regular KPI reviews with third-party logistics providers, carriers, warehouse partners, and other external service providers by holding monthly meetings with 3PLs.
- Research and resolve inventory accuracy issues, coordinate inventory adjustments, and maintain appropriate documentation to support accurate stock records.
- Manage the small on-site spare parts warehouse, including inventory control, picking, packing and shipping spare parts domestically and internationally, and related administrative activities.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, international trade, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, import/export coordination, customer service operations, or a related supply chain function.
- Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, third-party logistics providers, or warehouse partners preferred.
- Working knowledge of import/export documentation, shipment tracking, freight processes, inventory transactions, and logistics issue resolution.
- Experience with ERP, warehouse management, transportation management, or similar business systems preferred;
Infor M3 experience is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
Power BI experience a plus. - Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
- Able to adapt to variable workload demands, including both fast-paced periods and slower times that require self-direction and initiative.
- Action-oriented and proactive in following up on issues, driving resolution, and ensuring positive outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, vendors, carriers, warehouse partners, and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to eliminate issues appropriately while maintaining service levels and operational continuity.
