Fabrication Welder

Welders at EAFab are responsible for fabricating custom equipment for the steel industry and performing repairs for our clients.

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Set up welder control settings to perform specific operations
• Accurately produce layouts, fit materials, and perform quality welds
• Perform inspection of parts and weld quality checks
• Work both independently and in a team

• Work in a hands‑on, dynamic, and collaborative environment
• Use MIG and/or Flux Core welding to carry out operations
• Adhere to all safety guidelines
• Operate welder station independently and effectively
• Be a pleasant, helpful, and optimistic teammate

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), OR 1-3 months related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Formal welding education/training
• Welding certificates preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug test
