Job Overview
This position is for 2nd shift 2pm-10pm Monday‑Friday. It is eligible for a $2/hr shift differential. Candidates with direct experience will be eligible for a higher pay rate.
Responsibilities- Responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining a number of press equipment.
- Perform all make‑ready tasks associated with the Flexographic press such as mounting plates, installing print cylinders, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections, checking correct positioning of images, prepping web paths, adjusting tension and register, etc.
- Make necessary color correction, anilox adjustment and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as required.
- Perform periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.
- Thorough knowledge of Flexographic printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements and skills to perform assignments.
- Skill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings and materials needed to run the job successfully.
- Skill to make a variety of difficult precise web paths, adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment.
- Skill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, Excel, Word, and Google, preferred.
- Skill in use of Mark Andy, Aquaflex, Comco, Webtron, Gallus, Nil Peter, preferred.
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $28.00 to $42.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call‑in, and stand‑by pay.
