Keytronic Oakdale, MN facility is seeking a Production Planner candidate to work with Program Managers, Production Managers, and Production Leads to schedule Manufacturing Orders through the various production areas to ensure schedule completion dates and customer commit dates are met. Assist with reviewing customer orders and releasing orders to meet customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
Attend daily Production/Shipping Meeting and assist with leading Daily schedule meetings
Assist with prioritizing schedules to optimize work flows to meet schedule completion and commit dates
Communicate Schedules with Production Manager, Leads, Program Managers, and Management Drive to eliminate barriers that affect meeting schedule completion dates and customer commit dates
Assist with insuring work-in-process manufacturing accuracy (CMS and Aegis)
Liaison between Production, Planning, Purchasing, Materials, Engineering, Program Managers Release assigned customer production orders in Business System (CMS)
Communicate and coordinate action plans to eliminate Manufacturing Order material shortages with Production, Materials, and Purchasing Communicate ship schedule misses, commit date delays, and revised commit days to Program Managers and customers when applicable
Follow department work instructions and improve where needed
Take on additional tasks as requiredSUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED Is supervised by the Director of Supply Chain and has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced, time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building and production floor.
Effectively communicate orally and written.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubical setting with some areas that may be louder employee occasionally might be near moving mechanical parts and exposed to fumes or airborne particles on the production floor.

High school diploma or GED.Five plus years of production planning.
Familiarity with MRP systems and ISO procedures and requirements.
High level of proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word applications.
Ability to write, read, and speak English.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, problem solves strong customer service skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
