Warehouse Lead

Overview

Note:

Schedule may vary based on business needs. Flexibility required.

• Lead daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, shipping, material flow)
• Supervise, train, and coach warehouse staff
• Ensure safety compliance, GMP adherence, and safe equipment use (including forklifts)
• Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
• Enforce FEFO (First Expired, First Out) processes
• Coordinate materials to support production and meet operational goals
• Monitor workflow efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Create schedules and maintain shift coverage
• Track performance (safety, quality, productivity, cost, waste)
• Communicate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
• Support labor planning, equipment monitoring, and issue resolution

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–5+ years of warehouse and inventory experience
• 3–5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience in food manufacturing or union environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems (SAP/ERP preferred)
• Understanding of lean warehouse processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Must be flexible to work varying shifts as needed
• Ability to work extended schedules during peak season (7 days/week for up to 16 weeks with OT pay)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
