Plumber to join our secure, single-site facilities team at HMP Stocken
, working on a long‑term, stable contract supporting essential services within the prison.

You’ll carry out a mix of planned and reactive plumbing work, helping to keep the site safe, compliant and fully operational. This includes:

• General plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Working on mains water systems
• Fault‑finding and repairing equipment
• Inspections, water sampling and basic risk assessments
• Identifying and reporting life‑expired equipment

We’re keen to hear from practical, hands‑on plumbers who can work safely and confidently in a structured environment:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
• Experience in plumbing maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working in a commercial or similar environment

Legionella awareness is desirable but not essential — training can be provided.

Prison security clearance is required —
we’ll support you fully through the process

• 39 hours per week
• 1 in 3 weekends

• Salary range: £30,866 – £36,135
