RN Supervisor - A&R

Responsibilities

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a 182‑bed treatment facility located in Oakland Park, FL. The facility specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults, and seniors. The multidisciplinary team includes psychiatry, medicine, nursing, social services, education, and activity therapy.

Registered Nurse (RN), Supervisor – Nights, Full Time (7:00 pm – 7:30 am, ER experience preferred)

• Provide direct administrative oversight to admissions and referral staff.
• Lead clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, referral coordination, benefit verification, and overall operations of the admissions department.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility or ER preferred.

Licensure

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, BLS.

Additional Requirements

• CPR certification and successful completion of restraining procedures training.
• CPI within 30 days of employment.
• Understanding of The Joint Commission, OSHA and state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to prioritize workload and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Focus on providing high quality patient care.
