The Door Doctor of South Florida is hiring an experienced Garage Door & Entry Door Installer who can professionally install both garage door systems and residential and commercial entry doors. Serving South Florida since 1981 throughout Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties.
What You'll Do:- Install residential and light commercial sectional garage doors, rolling steel doors, tracks, springs, cables, drums, rollers, struts, and hardware
- install and set up garage door operators
- install residential and commercial entry doors, prehung exterior doors, and commercial hollow metal doors and frames
- install thresholds, weatherstripping, locks, closers, and panic/exit hardware
- level, balance, and finish completed systems
- lead and train an installation helper
- document jobs using company apps
- Minimum 1 year of professional installation experience
- Professional garage door and residential/commercial entry door installation experience required
- Experience with commercial hollow metal doors and frames and commercial door hardware
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly, work on ladders and at heights, and work outdoors in South Florida conditions
- Must own hand and power tools and have a smartphone for company apps
Schedule:
- Combination of piece-work and hourly compensation
- $22-$27 per hour for work outside the piece-work structure
- Monday-Friday, approximately 7:30 AM-3:30 PM, with occasional overtime or Saturday work
