Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Coda Search, in partnership with a prominent organization in the entertainment/sports sector, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Controller in cash management, month-end close, and GL maintenance.
Responsibilities:- Oversee revenue activities, including posting entries, managing accounts receivable, and reconciling balances.
- Manage the entire accounts payable cycle: processing invoices, coding transactions, and allocating costs.
- Process payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and journal entries.
- Maintain the General Ledger by recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Analyze expenditures and breakdown costs using Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Serve as the primary contact for vendors, addressing inquiries professionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting, focusing on accounts payable or receivable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with billing and accounts payable processes.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
